Sewell Stipend applications open: Participate in APHA (American Public Health Association) meeting for free :)

Hello friends,

The Sewell Stipend pays for librarians who to participate virtually in the annual meeting of APHA, the American Public Health Association. You can meet researchers and practitioners of public health as well as other librarians working with public health information. Don’t just trust me to tell you that this opportunity is worth taking; hear it straight from the Sewell Stipend recipients themselves at: https://sites.google.com/view/sewellstipend/recipients-reports.

The 2020 cohort had a great virtual conference experience, and the 15+ librarians who receive Sewell Stipends this year will too. What’s more, the fees for APHA membership and registration will be paid directly to APHA, so the 2021 Sewell Stipend recipients don’t have to spend any money out of pocket. Here’s to a more accessible and equitable approach to professional development!

Get all the details on our website https://sites.google.com/view/sewellstipend/apply and share the Sewell Stipend on social media too: https://twitter.com/SewellStipend

Application are accepted now till July 16, 2021.

Questions? Email kate.nyhan@yale.edu<mailto:kate.nyhan@yale.edu.

PS – please consider sharing this opportunity with someone in your network. Thanks to the Sewell Fund, we have enough $$$ for at least fifteen stipends!
